Long before becoming the official SCIFF Master of Ceremonies, Zach Miller successfully ran the Comedy Palace in San Diego for 9 years, before stepping aside to take on full-time duties as CEO of the Hemperors Comedy brand, and Co-Producer and Host of all Cosmic Comedy Shows. Zach’s debut comedy special from Funny Media Group premiered in 2022.

Not “The Coach”, but rather, “The Comedian”, and we have got him. Patrick Riley is a proud father, welcome’d guest on many podcasts, headlines shows on the road and is a regular at all the top clubs in town.

Writer and star of the hit web series about cops on stakeout, affectionately titled, “A Couple of Dicks”, Mat Dann also somehow manages to produce the very popular shows, “Ill-Prepared” at the Hollywood Improv, and “Warp Speed”, bouncing between the WeHo, Malibu, DTLA and Austin, Texas SoHo Houses.

You’ve seen her on “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”, and performing on “Comic Relief” alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Robin Williams. Chances are you’ve also seen Pam McGeary at the local super market, because she lives here in Santa Clarita. Should you be longing to see more of her after the festival, you can catch her hosting the comedy show at Pocock Brewery on Tuesday nights.

Husband, Father, Soldier, Comedian… Sam Ridley does it all, including winning the Virtual National Standemic Comedy Competition in 2021. His debut Blue Ray, “Did I Make It Yet?” sold out of stock just before they stopped making Blue Rays entirely. A clear indication that he will be making it soon.

Originally from San Francisco, David Studebaker and his family made the move to Santa Clarita after he was named “One of the 10 Best Comics to Watch” by SF Weekly. He can be heard regularly on Sirius XM Radio and he just recorded his first Dry Bar Comedy special.

A finalist int he Clean Comedy Challenge in 2020 and 2021, Michelle Malizaki morphed that success into being runner up of the US Comedy Contest later on that year. Her storytelling show, “How did you get to LA?” premiered at the Hollywood Fringe 2022.

Earning his chops in the Gold Room of San Diego’s Comedy Palace, Jon Bird can now be found regularly hosting the best comedy show in Huntington Beach every other Wednesday at the HB Patio. He also easily slides easily into the role of “Bouncer”. Should anything ever pop off and get out of hand, rest assured, Jon will quell it.

An All Canadian basketball player gone comedian, that’s what Henry Sir is. After performing everywhere he could across Canada though, he decided to check the rest of North America off his hit list. Henry was named a breakout artist by Caroline’s on Broadway in New York City, and he was also part of the Laugh Factory’s Fresh Faces of 2020.

Host of the “In Studio with Rubio” podcast on Apple and Spotify, multi-media artist Kris Rubio dropped his debut comedy special, “Asian Guy with Electronics”, on Funny Media Group in 2022.

A regular at all Improv, Punchline, Funny Bones, and Laff Stop comedy clubs, Brenda Pontiff is also the creator and executive producer of the hit show, “Disaster to the Wench”, where Brenda and her female entertainment industry friends watch old movies and comment on sexism and the sliver screen.

Not only is this man a comedian, he is a hot sauce oligarch. Santa Clarita’s own Dave Yates performs stand-up comedy not because he needs to, it’s because he wants to. That’s how good his “Haha Hot Sauce” is. Pick yourself up a bottle after you see him perform.

She took the country by storm as one of “America’s Little Sister’s” on AGT. While Katie K may have been a thorn in Simon Cowell’s side, she is still revered for her time as a jello wrester. She recently recorded her first comedy album at Mic Drop Comedy Club in San Diego.

Kicked out of his home country of France during the pandemic for being a marijuana outlaw, unsurprisingly, Noman Honsni has found a safe home in Southern California. He is a regular host of the Cosmic Comedy Show, just performed at Montreal’s “Just For Laughs” comedy festival, and he is in development currently on a show for Amazon Prime.

Known affectionately as, “Jonnae the Queen”, Jonnae Thompson honed her comedy skills coming up in San Diego, but she has taken Los Angeles by storm in recent years, with breakout performances on All Def, TruTV, and Revolt TV

A regular at all the big clubs across Los Angeles, Camilla Cleese has been seen on Comedy Central’s @Midnight, and she also tours around the country opening for her father, one of the original members of Monty Python, legendary comedian, John Cleese.

Calling all “Battle Bots” and “Extreme Dodgeball” fans, the one and only Bil Dwyer parlayed the fame granted him after starring in “Ski Patrol 2” and he has been headlining across the country ever since. You may have also seen him on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”, or as a regular contributor VH1’s, “I love the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s”.
