Long before becoming the official SCIFF Master of Ceremonies, Zach Miller successfully ran the Comedy Palace in San Diego for 9 years, before stepping aside to take on full-time duties as CEO of the Hemperors Comedy brand, and Co-Producer and Host of all Cosmic Comedy Shows. Zach’s debut comedy special from Funny Media Group premiered in 2022.

Host of the “Mondays are Dope” podcast, Damon Monday recently expanded the brand to include the “Mondays are Dope” comedy show at the No future Cafe in Pasadena. Damon also runs sound and performs regularly on all Cosmic Comedy and Hemperors Comedy shows.

Since 2014 Bakersfield’s Tyson Paul has been building one of the hottest comedy brands in all of California. “We Own The Laughs” not only covers the pulse of the comedy community daily, they also regularly host shows at the Haha Cafe in North Hollywood, Tommy T’s Comedy Club in Pleasanton, and the Punchline Sacramento.

A favorite act on multiple cruise ship lines, Chris Strait released separate DryBar and Funny Media Group specials in 2022. He also once performed in a dive bar, while an episode of TruTV’s “World’s Dumbest”, that he was providing commentary on, played on the TV screens, as he was on stage. He asked them before the show to turn the TV’s off. They didn’t.

A published author and Creative Writing and Literature Professor at USC, it’s a wonder how Amy Silverberg still has time to have her stand-up comedy featured on Comedy Central, Hulu, NPR and Amazon Prime. She was also selected as a “New Face” at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.

A native Angeleno and host of HBO’s ‘Entre Nos’ comedy show and the “Please Remain Calm” podcast, Ben Gonzalez also hosts and produces, “The Goonie’s Show” at West Side Comedy Theater in Santa Monica. A major, major upgrade from the dive bar on Lincoln Boulevard where the show first started.
