The Santa Clarita International Film Festival is thrilled to be offering comedy as part of the program. Held on the main stage on the roof of the parking garage next to the Laemmle, come laugh as talented local comedians entertain the crowds with their latest work.

Born in Echo Park, the Cosmic Comedy show was the hottest underground stand up and variety show in LA, before the concept was brought from the city into the suburban markets of of Southern California in the Spring of 2021.

Leading the way are veteran comedians Zach Miller and Sean McBride, who have over 30 years of professional comedy experience between them, and relationships with many of the best comics working today, ensuring a great show every single time!

Currently operating out of Rock N Roll Pizza Bar in Simi Valley, the BL Dancehall and Saloon in Agoura Hills, and both Brewery Draconum and Reyes Winery on Main in Santa Clarita, the Cosmic Comedy format was designed to utilize the surplus of talented comedians living in and around the greater Los Angeles area, while minimizing the drive time and hassle for comedy fans wanting to see a great show. People want to be entertained close to their homes and Cosmic Comedy is here to provide that.

Sean McBride Bio

Sean McBride is a rising star on the Los Angeles comedy club circuit and has made multiple appearances on Hulu’s “Comedy Time”. He is also a highly regarded writer-producer, and in 2018 he produced the psychological thriller, “LIVE”, now streaming on Amazon Prime, and his scRedd Foxx biopic, “Seeing Redd” is currently in development. Zach Miller Bio

His name is Zach Miller, dawg. After many years of competing with millennial NFL players for name recognition, they have all now retired, and standup comedy’s Zach Miller is still here with his old ass. Rockin tracksuits while raising children, blowing clouds and hosting Hemperors & Cosmic Comedy shows regularly across Southern California.
