Andrew is a college counselor at an elite prep school in Los Angeles, spending his days in conference with students and their parents, all who have high expectations for their next academic community. When a dinner party boils over, however, Andrew’s biases gradually become illuminated, as he tries to navigate the complex currents of social inequity, all the while coming to terms with a deeply personal grief.


Adam Howard

Adam Hunter Howard [he/him] is a Los Angeles native, playwright, educator, and actor. He recently completed the Road Theatre Company’s Under Construction 3 cohort, where he developed his newest play, Feast, and he is currently a co-coordinator for the UC4 group. Adam’s play, Headwind, a harsh look into the privilege of selective college admissions at independent private schools, was selected for the IAMA Theatre Company’s New Works Festival in 2019. As an actor, Adam has performed at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, with the Antaeus Theatre Company, and at various venues in Los Angeles, Austin, and Edinburgh.

Jason Lott

Jason Lott is an actor-writer, currently based in Los Angeles. He’s worked with numerous regional theaters over the years, including productions with The Kennedy Center, Folger Theatre, Studio Theatre, Theater Alliance, The Hub Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Everyman Theatre, and the Malibu Playhouse. He is a two-time Helen Hayes Award nominee, including a nomination for Wonderful Life (an adaptation of It’s a Wonderful Life) for Outstanding New Play, and a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.

Raul Vega Martinez

Raul Vega Martinez is a native of Boyle Heights and a graduate of UC Irvine with a B.A. in Drama. He has performed at several theaters throughout Los Angeles including Playwrights Arena, Company of Angels, Hereandnow Theatre Company, Casa 0101 and Frida Kahlo Theatre. Outside of performing on stage, he is an avid guitarist and rock climber.
