Lota Hadley
Born to a single mother in Pacoima, California, Lota Hadley, started at Paramount Studios before joining MGM Studios and ultimately Warner Bros. Studios where she was based for twenty-seven years. Lota worked in production and post-production over that time before starting her own production and management company (which was also based at Warner Bros. Studios.) The company handled clients like Sonny Landham (Predator, 48 Hours), Director Michael Winner (Death Wish, The Mechanic) Jamie Dukes (former NFL player with the NFL Network), Jacqueline Moore (with the WWE) and several other prominent film and music personalities…
Lota was the co-producer on the film “House of Grimm”; with Jon Divens, (the co-producer
of The Blade films) and she was the Executive Producer of three other films that deal with social issues, “;One Hour Fantasy Girl”; (which explores the problems that plague runaways)”; The Magic Stone”; (which deals with homelessness) and “;Mother’s Red Dress”; which deals with domestic violence and these films are endorsed by the American Way. Lota has several other projects in various stages of productions such as, “Little Iron Men” which is the true story of the first company of Japanese-American soldiers in WWII (and was voted favorite project in the IFP Market –and is now being re-organized to a mini-series.) In 2008/2009 with a former executive from The Weinstein Company, a partner from Interscope and Warner Bros. vet Ethan Dettenmaier, she re-formed a production company into Arsenal Productions And Management. She is the host of the syndicated radio show ‘Life In The Know” (which records over on the Universal Studios backlot) and started ‘The Make The World A Better Place Foundation’ with her daughter Shawn Dettenmaier.
