Panel #4 – From Script to Screen: A Production Panel Discussion

Mike Glazer – Moderator

Michael “Mikey” Glazer writes, redlines, and negotiates the fine print, so you don’t have to. Of 225,000 lawyers in California, he is the only one who was a producer of NBC’s “Fear Factor.”

He is a proud Deerfield Academy alum with SCIFF Founder Lisa DeSouza, and attended Deerfield and Georgetown University with co-panelist Mike Sucsy.

 

Dedi Felman

Dedi Felman is a writer / director born and raised in the wilds of New Jersey. She teaches TV and feature writing for Genre Masters. Her short film, Allegiance, was a finalist at the USA Film Festival and her most recent short, Take Good Care, premiered at the Oscar-qualifying Hollyshorts Film Festival and screened at the Burbank International Film Festival. Dedi is currently seeking financing for her first feature, American Holler, a female-driven heist film.

Harvey Lowry 

Harvey Lowry is an award winning director and producer. He has directed 16 feature films, 15 television pilots and episodes and independently produced 35 feature films, commercials and music videos and 14 television shows. Although he films all over the world, Harvey grew up in Santa Clarita and currently resides in Valencia.

Meredith Thomas

After appearing in over 30 television movies, Meredith Thomas looked at her resume and found that she had only been directed by women on features three times. Since deciding to explore directing, she has racked up nine second unit directing credits for Lifetime Movies in two years and directed the award-winning “Spirit Quest with Jack Maxwell” (screening at SCIFF 23). Meredith is an award winning producer as well for “Disconnected “ and “$TACK$” which received an Emmy nomination for lead actor.

Mike Sucsy

Mike Sucsy is a film director, screenwriter, and producer known for his work on Grey Gardens (HBO), which won 2 Golden Globes, 6 Emmys (out of a record 17 nominations), and the PGA Award. He also directed the hit films The Vow and Every Day, as well as multiple episodes of 13 Reasons Why. He is the president/CEO of HungryDuck Productions and lives in Los Angeles with his husband, Demitri Sgourakis, an interior designer.

Roman Molino Dunn 

Roman Molino Dunn is an award-winning composer and Billboard-charting music producer also known as Electropoint. His film and TV credits include HBO, Netflix, A24, Nat Geo, Disney, Participant, Focus Features, Paramount+, Samuel Goldwyn Films, Roadside Attractions, YouTube Originals, E!TV, OutTV, Oxygen, VH1, among others.
