FILM - ZONTA HOSTED SCREENING

The Santa Clarita International Film Festival is committed to activism and as such, this year we are working closely with several non-profits which will host screening blocks that contain content that is relevant to the great work that they do every day. One such organization is the ZONTA CLUB.

Zonta International and its members work at the international, national and local levels to realize the vision of a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. Through their programs, Zonta strives to ensure that women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men. And most importantly, where no woman lives in fear of violence. Zonta International has successfully empowered women worldwide through service and advocacy for more than 100 years.

Supporting and empowering strong women is what the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita is all about. Through their many programs they improve the lives of women and girls in our community and worldwide through our service projects, advocacy, education, and awareness campaigns. The Women in Film Celebration and Conference featuring Luna Fest is one such event meant to bring together a collective of professionals and artists in the industry.
